The last thing I read was an article about the Los Angeles Lakers star, Kobe Bryant. The article talked about how Kobe made his much awaited return to Lakers practice for his first full practice in a full month. During the practice, Kobe allegedly made things uncomfortable by slandering his teammates with insults, calling them as soft as Charmin toilet paper. Charmin toilet paper even took heed of these events and tweeted about what Kobe said in a very comical fashion. Kobe was very displeased by his teammates performance in practice, saying he now sees why they've lost so many games this season. Most of the other players shied away from retorting to Kobe, but fellow Laker Nick Young talked back, saying no one in the world could guard him. After practice Kobe let the General manager of the Lakers know that his team mates really need to step up, While nick young encouraged his teammates to stand up for themselves when faced with a challenge. This article was interesting to me because the lakers are my favorite basketball team, and its pretty cool to have an insight of whats going on outside of official games. That pretty much sums up this reading.

The last thing i read was the finale of my favorite anime, naruto. In this chapter, naruto and sasuke finally finished fighting, both losing an arm in the process. After their fight people from the village came and rescued them, and sasuke decided to stop being evil. The war was officially over and all the survivors attended a mass funeral for all those who died during the war. Naruto's master, Kakashi became the leader after the war, and then about 15 years later, naruto and his peers began to have children. everyone who had been a leader before was now getting quite old, and it was clear that naruto and his pupils were the new leaders of the village. After talking to his son for a while, naruto finally was revealed to have reached his goal of become the ultimate leader of the village, or the Hokage.

I felt like it was a fitting ending for my favorite anime, especially since naruto finally achieved his lifelong dream of becoming the hokage, and sasuke finally returned to being a good guy. It was also pretty cool to see all the kids from the village all grown up and having kids, which hinted that there will be a continuation of the naruto series focusing on the next generation of the village. All in all it was a great chapter and im looking forward to seeing the new series next year.

The last thing I read was the latest chapter of my favorite manga, Naruto. In this chapter, our hero Naruto and his arch rival, Sasuke are going at it in a no-holds-barred death match. The 2 are fighting to gain control over the way the world is going to be ruled in the future. After using all of their energy up in the previous chapter, the 2 are completely drained and are fighting on the last reserves in their bodies, engaged in brutal hand to hand combat. The 2 are visibly drained, as they fail to execute their signature techniques due to a lack of energy. The 2 come together and attempt to punch each other, but are so weak that they deliver no more than a light tap to each other's bodies, Naruto tapping Sasuke's head and Sasuke tapping Naruto's stomach. They sit down in this position, unable to move and right as Naruto's demon entity attempts to lend him some energy, Sasuke senses it and steals the energy right out of Naruto's body using the special powers his eyes lend him. Re-energized, Sasuke gets up and prepares his signature attack while a weak Naruto remains vulnerably on the ground. As Sasuke prepares to strike, he says coldly "With this, I can finally be alone. See you, my only friend!!!" and the chapter ends.

This passage had me very excited and ready to see the next chapter. It had great action and hand to hand combat, suspense, and an interesting twist at the end. I believe that the author's purpose of writing this chapter was to show the desperation between the 2 boys as they fight to gain control of the world. I also noticed slight moments of chronological organization by way of flashbacks here and there throughout the chapter.

"02.07 Free Choice Blog."

The last thing that I read was the latest chapter of my favorite manga, Naruto: Shippuden. In the latest chapter the main character, Naruto and his comrades Sasuke, Sakura, and Kakashi had just finished saving the world from doom. Naruto was saying farewell to his father who was returning to the spirit world. After he finished, it was up to Naruto and Sasuke to restore the world to the condition it was in before all of the destruction from earlier. Sasuke agreed to help Naruto, but said before he does that, he wants to fight Naruto to prove his strength and become the new leader, thus ending the chapter in a very suspenseful way.

The thing I like the most about this chapter was Sasuke's decision to go against Naruto and create a new system of rule. It really caught me off guard because I thought that peace had finally arrived, but I guess Sasuke didn't want peace. I also liked the cliffhanger ending to the chapter, because it left me wanting another chapter instantly.

On the “What Kind of Reader Are You?” quiz, my result was that sports are my favorite genre. I believe that this result is accurate because most of the time when I read, watch tv, or converse with people, sports are the topic.

The last thing that I read that I enjoyed was an article on sneakernews.com about my favorite player in the NBA, Kevin Durant. The headline news was that the Oklahoma City thunder star, Kevin Durant is thinking about leaving Nike for Under Armour. I enjoyed reading this article because since Kevin is my favorite player in the league, I like to buy his apparel and knowing which brand he signs a contract with lets me know which kind of  Kevin Durant clothes and shoes i can expect to buy next.
